Supporting our local hospice

We’re proud to be undertaking a number of fundraising activities for Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care, based locally in Farnham.

Raffle and cake sale

We raised £726 selling raffle tickets and (more importantly) cake – and lots of it!  Who knew cake could raise so much for such a great cause?  Coupled with our raffle sales, of course.  Thank you to the local businesses who donated prizes.

Quiz night

Oh, what a night! Seven teams packed out the very charming Tudor Antiques in Guildford one chilly night in November, helping us raise £300! Not just your average quiz night, with a few rogue questions challenging even the most confident participant. Well done to the winning team, captained by Martine Robbins from HR Dept.

Spinnaker Tower Abseil

Our Director, Frances, abseiled 100m down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth.  No mean feat, especially when you take a look over the edge!  The trickiest part was the mental power to manage the solo descent.  Still, another £680 in the pot for the hospice.

Did you know the hospice has to raise a staggering £20,000 per day to support their work?
